Niki Stage is an illustrator, surface pattern designer, & art educator, who lives in the Chicago Suburbs with her family. Niki’s career focus and personal goals are continually evolving. Her new found passion is illustrating children’s books. “There is this magic that happens when a story takes a child on a journey of emotion and wonder. I’ve seen it in the faces of my own boys these last ten years.”

Working both traditionally and digitally, Niki enjoys mixing surface textures with digital patterns and experimenting with color. She loves to capture life’s little moments in a whimsical way. Summers are when family road trips strike up adventures and Niki finds new inspiration.
